Who we are

This site (https://taylorcleary.com) is operated by Taylor Cleary, a Colorado-licensed Realtor with Your Castle Real Estate, based in Denver, Colorado. CO Real Estate License #100102507.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to help you with real estate and to keep the site working. Specifically:

Information you give us through forms

When you submit a contact form, request a home valuation (CMA), take the home-finder quiz, sign in at an open house, or otherwise message us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, the property address you're asking about, your timeline, and any notes you add. We also record which form you used and which page you were on when you submitted it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site we record limited technical information your browser sends with every web request:

• Network metadata: your IP address; coarse location (country, region, city) derived from your IP via Cloudflare; the page URL you requested; the referring page; your browser type, operating system, and device class.
• Session identifier: a randomly generated tc_session cookie (HTTP-only, 90-day lifetime). This lets us recognize the same browser across pages without identifying you personally.
• Engagement signals (optional): if your browser does not send a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we record anonymous interaction events — time spent on the page, scroll depth, which listing cards you tapped, which call-to-action you opened, and clicks on outbound links. We use these to improve the site. We honor both Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC): when either is set, no engagement events are recorded and we treat the signal as a Colorado-Privacy-Act-recognized opt-out.
• Referral codes: if you arrived via a personalized link that includes a ?r= parameter, we associate your activity with the person who shared the link (typically Taylor sharing a property with a client).

Information from third parties

Listing data and photos come from the RECOLORADO Multiple Listing Service and similar sources. Some listings displayed on this site originate with other brokerages; that information is the property of those brokerages and the MLS.

How we use this information

• To respond to your messages and help you buy, sell, or learn about Denver real estate.
• To prepare hand-tailored materials (comparative market analyses, home recommendations, neighborhood briefings) for you.
• To keep the site secure (rate-limiting abuse, detecting bots, debugging errors).
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better.
• To comply with legal obligations and real-estate licensing requirements.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, full stop. We do not rent it and we do not share it with advertisers. We share information only with the parties below, and only as needed:

• Your Castle Real Estate: our supervising real-estate brokerage, as required by Colorado real-estate law.
• Service providers we operate the site with: Cloudflare (web hosting / DDoS protection / IP-based geolocation), our email provider, and our CRM. These vendors process information only as instructed and only to provide their service.
• Transaction partners (only if you have an active deal with us): lenders, title companies, inspectors, opposing-side agents — and only the information necessary for that transaction.
• Government or legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

How long we keep information

• Form submissions and contact details: kept while you remain a prospect, client, or past client. Past-client records are retained indefinitely so we can serve you again later — you can ask us to delete them at any time.
• Transaction documents: retained for at least four years as required by Colorado real-estate brokerage record-keeping rules.
• Web analytics and engagement events: typically retained for up to 24 months in identifiable form, then aggregated.
• The tc_session cookie: 90 days from its last use.

Cookies and similar technology

We use one first-party cookie, tc_session, to maintain a session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect minor site functionality but will not prevent you from using the site.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Stop receiving marketing or follow-up communications from us.

If you are a Colorado resident

The Colorado Privacy Act gives you additional rights to confirm what data we process, correct or delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of any sale or targeted-advertising use of your data. As stated above, we do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising, so the opt-out is effectively built in. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

If you are a California resident

The California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA grants you the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the timelines required by applicable law (45 days in most cases). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — encrypted connections (TLS) across the site, encrypted data at rest where practical, and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the appropriate authorities of a material breach as required by law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

The site is hosted in and intended for use in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes (anything that expands what we collect or who we share it with) will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
