Our commitment
Real estate is for everyone. Taylor Cleary is committed to making this website usable by the widest possible audience, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captioning, or other assistive technology.
Standard we follow
We design and build to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the same standards the U.S. Department of Justice points to under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and they reflect industry best practice for public-facing websites.
What we do
- Semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy so screen readers can navigate the page.
- A "skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Sufficient color contrast for body text and interface elements.
- Descriptive text alternatives for images, including property photos and maps.
- Form fields with associated labels, sensible autofill hints, and clear error messages.
- Modal dialogs (like the home-value request form) that trap focus while open and return focus to where you opened them.
- Support for browser zoom up to 200% without breaking the layout.
- We honor the Do Not Track browser signal and the Global Privacy Control signal — when either is set, we do not log engagement analytics.
Known limitations
We've done our best, and accessibility is ongoing work. Some content we display comes from third parties whose accessibility we can't fully control:
- Property photos sourced from the multiple listing service may have inconsistent quality and may not always have descriptive captions in the source data. We use the property address as a fallback description.
- Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap; interactive map controls follow OpenStreetMap's accessibility model.
- Some external links lead to third-party sites (Zillow, Realtor.com, the brokerage site) whose accessibility we don't control.
If any of these limitations stops you from finding the information you need, please contact us using the details below and we'll get you the information directly.
Compatibility
This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and with common screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS). It should also work well on mobile devices using TalkBack or VoiceOver.
